Peruvian Cultural Festival has been announced as one of the recipients of the Fred W. Fields Fund of Oregon Community Foundation
In 2012, a gift from the estate of Fred W. Fields transformed OCF into the largest charitable funder of the arts in Oregon. OCF stewards millions of dollars in annual support for essential arts and arts education programs in communities across the state.
About Oregon Community Foundation
OCF's mission is to improve lives for all Oregonians through the power of philanthropy. They commit themselves and their resources to the advancement of collaborative action, wise stewardship, equity, diversity and inclusion and a spirit of community.
Oregon Community Foundation puts donated money to work in Oregon – more than $100 million in grants and scholarships annually. Since 1973, OCF grantmaking, research, advocacy and community-advised solutions have helped individuals, families, businesses, and organizations create charitable funds to improve lives for all Oregonians. Impactful giving– time, talent, and resources from many generous Oregonians–creates measurable change. Throughout 2020, OCF responded quickly and urgently - distributing a record-setting $220 million in charitable dollars to more than 3,000 nonprofits throughout Oregon working to address urgent needs, stabilize communities and prepare for long-term recovery in Oregon. OCF donors responded to the magnitude of need, as reflected in a 44% increase in donor advised fund grantmaking from the previous year.
Expanding cultural and artistic opportunities for underrepresented communities
The Oregon Community Foundation recently announced Peruvian Cultural Festival among those who were approved to receive support from their Fred W. Fields fund. This partnership will support important work in our community to address lack of cultural and artistic opportunities. We look forward to furthering this work in our community, and we’re grateful for the generous support
